Ms. Kayla Roberts

Hello! My name is Kayla Roberts and I teach 1st grade at Naranca Elementary School. I’ve been teaching for six years. I taught 4th grade my first year, Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten for the past four years, and this is my first year in 1st grade! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. In addition, I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from SDSU.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have known from a very young age that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. One of my favorite things about being a teacher is being able to make a difference in every child’s life. I love watching children learn and grow. My number one goal is to make sure my ��Ƶ feel safe and comfortable in our classroom.

Outside of the classroom you may find me at the San Diego Zoo, New Children’s Museum or at the bay. I love spending time with family and friends, whether we are at home or out and about!
